DTA Direct Care Worker/Driver

Main Role: Provide direct care and supervision for members, help them follow their daily schedules, and safely transport them to activities, appointments, and home. Key Responsibilities Provide daily care and supervision to members. Help members follow rules, schedules, and daily activities . Assist with self-administration of medication . Transport members safely to activities, appointments, and outings. Ensure member safety in the facility and in vehicles. Help members with daily living tasks , including bathroom assistance when needed. Support exercise and wellness activities . Help with admissions and discharges of members. Write daily progress notes and complete paperwork (attendance, mileage logs, etc.). Report incidents to supervisors. Protect member rights and confidentiality . Help with food service and cleaning of the facility. Follow safety and disaster plans if needed. Complete required training (CPR, First Aid, job training). Work Rules Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license . No cell phone use while working. No sleeping on shift . Must wear full uniform during work hours. Physical & Work Requirements Able to lift up to 50 lbs . Able to drive a vehicle . Able to stand for long periods and stay active. Able to multitask and stay organized .
