Registered Nurse III - IMG Interventional Rad - 10 Hour Days

As a Clinical Nurse III, you will assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a procedure setting. You can look forward to using all of your clinical knowledge regarding standards of care, as well as supervising the clinical performance of others when acting as charge nurse and mentor. We are looking for a motivated, creative nurse that can serve as a motivator for continuous effective change in this current healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

• This position is 100% procedure focused
• Responsible for room efficiency
• Take charge of patient triage
• Perform patient and room prep
• Confirm and post procedure calls
• Overtime as needed to finish end of day backlog
• Will rotate call

Qualifications

Education

• Assoc. Degree/College Diploma Nursing - minimum
• Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (state accredited program) - preferred

Experience

• 3 years Relevant acute care experience in their area of specialty - minimum
• 1 year Must be a Clinical Nurse II at CSMC for at least one (1) year, to be promoted within the clinical ladder. - minimum

Licenses and Certifications

• RN State License - Upon Hire minimum California State RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Upon Hire minimum Require BLS unless a higher level of certification is required. As required by your specialty unit.
• ANCC Specialty Certification - (1 Year minimum Specialty Certification for external hires )
• Other – See Department Specifics - 1 Year minimum Other Competencies, as required by your specialty unit (ex. ACLS, PALS, fetal heart monitoring)
