Deli Associate

Overview Join our team as a Deli Associate. You will work in a vibrant store and food service environment, delivering friendly customer service and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and quality in the deli area. Responsibilities Greet and serve customers with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Prepare and package hot and cold deli items, ensuring safety and proper presentation. Replenish and organize deli displays and food service supplies; keep areas clean and well‑stocked. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all deli areas and equipment. Support vendor deliveries with a careful eye for quality and safety. Communicate specials and promotions to customers to drive engagement. Be flexible to perform various duties as needed and adapt to daily store needs. Follow food safety procedures and best practices; obtain or maintain Food Safety Certification as required. Complete pre‑employment drug screen and background check as part of hiring process. Qualifications Minimum age 18 years. Proficiency in English; basic math skills helpful for accurate transactions and portioning. Reliability and punctuality; able to demonstrate consistent attendance and dedication. Must be able to obtain and maintain Food Safety Certification. Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
