Municipal Project Manager

Engineering firm is seeking a Municipal Project Manager for their Pittsburgh office! Responsibilities include monitoring client satisfaction through regular meetings, developing new projects based on client needs, assisting with short-to-long term capital improvement planning, project planning, and fund procurement, building relationships with regulatory and funding agencies to assist clients and identify potential funding opportunities early in the project planning process, performing project management duties on a wide variety of project types including water/wastewater/storm improvements, street improvements, culvert upgrades, sidewalk replacement, curb replacement, funding procurement, plan review, plan/execute assigned projects at a high level, managing design tasks across various business units and support groups, performing complex tasks such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements, ensuring projects are executed and completed on time and within budget, coordinating QA/QC reviews of project deliverables with technical staff, supervising/mentoring junior staff, assisting with business development activities to expand municipal services, and effectively communicating verbally complex engineering concepts across a wide variety of audiences including engineers, contractors, elected officials, and the general public.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field, 5+ years of experience in a wide variety of municipal engineering services, project management experience, Professional Engineering (PE) License, and familiarity with federal and state funding agencies and programs. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
