**Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by #/hour.** *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield. If clinician previously worked with Marshfield, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.* All clinicians must clock in and out at facility # L&D Beds 8 # OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections? 1 # Triage beds 1 # Postpartum beds 12 # Births per day? Month? Year? 100-120 per month, 1300-1400 per year Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? Yes Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, NRP Common diagnoses/Types of patients Pre-eclampisia, Gestational Diabetes, postpartum hemorrhage, Newborn Respiratory distress, Pregnancy Experience or 'Must have' skills Comfortable with neonatal rescussitation and NRP, comfortable with labor patients and postpartum patients and couplets, comfortable taking stable newborn patients LDRP position, units are separated, but would work both labor and postpartum taking care of moms and babies. RNs do not circulate in the OR or recover after general anesthesia Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips Oxytocin, insulin, magnesium Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Sometimes, Travel RN would not be in charge Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? Yes OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? No Anesthesia in house 24/7? Yes RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) CPAP, BiPAP, and vents on site used primarily for newborns in our unit - separate staff would use these Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? they would go to another unit or strips would be read by tele techs on another unit. GE monitors EFM System Fetalink Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Self-scheduling Weekend Requirements Every 3rd Friday, Saturday, Sunday Holiday Requirements Is there a call or standby requirement? no Floating Requirements? Potential to float to other units as a sitter if the need arises - would be in same rotation as staff nurses. Scrub Color/Dress code scrubs provided Unit/Department specific orientation Would have 1 day of orientation completing online training, 1 day in labor, and 1 day in postpartum
