Optometrist - Ocala, Florida

An exciting opportunity is available for an Optometrist to join a dedicated team at a nonprofit, multi-specialty healthcare center in Ocala, FL. This role involves providing comprehensive optometric primary care services in a supportive environment. You will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality patient care while enjoying competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities Provide outpatient comprehensive optometric services, including preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment for acute and chronic conditions. Collaborate with a professional team to ensure exceptional patient care in a compassionate and empathetic manner. Participate in outreach and off-site health care programs within the community. Complete required documentation and assigned tasks on time using electronic health records. Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations while adhering to current disease management protocols. Facilitate necessary referrals and represent the organization's values and mission. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. You will manage 24 patients a day (4 patients per hour) with support from two technicians and front desk staff. Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
