Summary

You are responsible for ensuring quality control at all stages of production, verifying the conformity of products, specifications, and documentation, identifying and reporting non-conformities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and quality performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control during receiving, in-process, and final inspection in accordance with quality plans and instructions;
• Verify visual, dimensional, functional, and documentary characteristics;
• Use measuring and testing equipment;
• Ensure the traceability of batches, serial numbers, materials, and tools, as well as the compliance of quality records;
• Complete inspection reports, certificates of conformity, and associated quality records;
• Record and report any non-conformities;
• Support product release;
• Participate in procedure audits and document updates;
• Support continuous improvement measures and activities in production;
• Contribute to the improvement of quality control services;
• Conduct internal audits as needed;

Job Requirements

Education

DEP or DEC in mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, or any other relevant field.

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the manufacturing sector;
• Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus;
• Knowledge of production and quality testing equipment in a manufacturing environment;
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards;
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications;
• Experience in problem-solving and ability to effectively manage challenging situations;
• Strong communication skills in French, both verbal and written, and a good basic knowledge of English;
