Fire Alarm Technician – Fire Alarm Systems | Memphis, TN

Responsibilities
- Pull, terminate, dress, and label fire alarm cable
- Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment
- Terminate fire alarm panels and devices
- Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints
- Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems
- Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights)
- Install and support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites including schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, and more
Requirements
- 2+ years demonstrated work history and hands-on knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems
- Understanding of current NEC and NFPA codes and requirements
- Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming fire alarm systems
- Systems experience with Siemens, Bosch, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, and Kidde required
- Experience with Edwards and other major fire alarm manufacturers is a plus
- BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots)
- Willingness to travel to job sites within Memphis, TN, and the surrounding areas as needed
