Your mission

Own the digital thread from CAD to chip. As a CAD/CAM Process Developer, you will craft reliable CAM packages and CNC code for intricate, tight‑tolerance components, then prove them out with the teams who run our lines. You’ll also help design the software and methods that raise the bar for how precision parts are made.

Key outcomes

• Production‑grade programs: Deliver high‑quality toolpaths that align to Hadrian programming standards and execute consistently at speed.
• Accessible execution: Write clear, thorough setup and work instructions so even minimally experienced operators can succeed.
• Closed‑loop improvement: Seek, synthesize, and apply feedback from machinists and technical staff to boost productivity and standardize outcomes across hundreds of units.
• Fixture excellence: Design 3D fixtures in Siemens NX using 3‑2‑1 locating, Poka‑Yoke, and equation‑driven strategies; maintain clean, auditable design trees and follow internal workflows.
• Software partnership: Trial new tech, identify gaps, report bugs immediately, and collaborate with engineering to advance our internal automation suite and Co‑Pilot CAM usage.
• Knowledge building: Document best practices in tooling, application processes, workholding design, and manufacturing methodologies; model proactive communication and integrity.

What you’ll need

• Track record programming 3‑ and/or 5‑axis CNC machines for precision production work.
• Experience in aerospace or similarly demanding industries.
• Safety, quality, and smart tool selection are second nature.
• Solid grasp of GD able to read CMM data, interpret trends, diagnose dimensional instability, and implement fixes.
• Willingness to experiment and drive development streams inside a live operations setting.
• Steadfast integrity in the face of tough production/debug challenges; action‑oriented and team‑first.

Make your application pop

• Background with steels, stainless, titanium, and Inconel.
• Strong 5‑axis proficiency; mill‑turn familiarity is a plus.
• Experience integrating probing routines in NC programming.
• Fluency in manufacturing data analysis to uncover patterns and inefficiencies.
• Relentless learner tuned into Industry 4.0, IoT, AI in manufacturing, and lean principles; highly adaptable.

• CAM: Mastercam, Esprit, HSM Works, GibbsCAM, Mazatrol, Autodesk Fusion 360, Promill, Bobcad, Surfcam, Siemens NX, Sprutcam
• Machines: CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC); CNC Lathe (5+ axis)
• Competencies: GD&T, equipment troubleshooting, CNC programming, G‑code, M‑code, CNC setup & changeover, advanced inspection & gauging
