Manager of Technical Accounting

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $140,000 to $175,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Lead technical accounting initiatives by researching complex transactions and providing accounting guidance to business partners. Develop and maintain accounting policies procedures and documentation to support compliance and reporting requirements. Partner with cross functional teams to evaluate new business activities and recommend appropriate accounting treatment. Support audits compliance initiatives and internal control programs while ensuring proper documentation and execution. Deliver accounting training and educational resources that improve understanding of financial reporting requirements across the organization. Requirements A Bachelor or master degree in accounting and maintain an active CPA designation. 4+ years of accounting experience with exposure to technical accounting research and financial reporting matters. Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting standards financial reporting requirements and policy development practices. Possess experience with internal controls compliance programs and accounting documentation requirements. Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and enterprise resource planning systems. Qualifications Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate complex accounting matters and develop practical solutions. Communicate technical concepts clearly to financial and nonfinancial stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Demonstrate exceptional writing skills when preparing accounting analyses policies and technical documentation. Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams and external business partners. Bring experience with international reporting standards enterprise software implementation or compliance frameworks considered beneficial.
