Licensed Mental Health Therapist – Hep C Free Program Location: Indian Health Clinic – 703NE Hancock St., Portland, OR97212. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; occasional evenings and weekends may be required. Wage Range: $75,600.00–$87,150.00 per year; position is exempt. Position Overview The Licensed Mental Health Therapist – HepC Free provides behavioral health screening, individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination for participants in NARA Northwest’s HepC Free Program. The therapist works in clinic and community settings, employing trauma‑informed, culturally responsive, and harm‑reduction approaches to support whole‑person care and improve treatment access for individuals with mental health concerns, substance use disorders, and barriers to healthcare. What you will do Participate in community outreach with the HepC Free team and engage community members in outreach settings. Provide behavioral health screenings, referrals, and intake coordination for community members interested in mental health services. Conduct individual, family, and group therapy services as appropriate for clients served under the grant. Coordinate care for clients transitioning from HepC Free outreach into mental health and SUD services, tracking them through treatment and referrals to appropriate levels of care. Serve as consultant and liaison with referral sources and treatment providers. Complete written diagnostic assessments and impressions, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required documentation. Provide crisis intervention services, including referrals and follow‑up. Provide referral, follow‑up, and outreach services as needed. Participate in staff meetings and quality assurance activities, including chart reviews. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Current Oregon licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist. At least two years of paid experience providing behavioral health services, including work with individuals with co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Valid Oregon driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurable driving record. Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients, the community, and other staff members. Must pass a pre‑employment or for‑cause drug test, a criminal background check, and a DMV check.
