AM Bartender

Grace Tavern is seeking a hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team on a dedicated daytime schedule.

Located just South of South at Triangle Park, Grace is a long-standing neighborhood staple with a rotating selection of local and European beers, seasonal cocktails, and corner bar favorites. We are committed to delivering memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and a passion for great food and beverage.

We’re looking for a bartender who takes ownership of their shift, takes pride in their work, and brings a high level of professionalism and initiative to every service. This position offers a great deal of independence and is ideal for someone who is confident working autonomously while maintaining the standards of the restaurant and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

• Work a consistent, dedicated AM schedule
• Independently manage daytime bar service and the guest experience
• Prepare the bar and restaurant for service and maintain an organized, well-stocked workspace
• Execute cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages accurately and consistently
• Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service throughout the shift
• Communicate effectively with management and the kitchen team
• Take initiative during slower periods to maintain the restaurant, improve readiness, and contribute to the overall operation
• Build relationships with daytime guests and help develop a strong, repeat lunch and neighborhood business
• Handle opening, closing, cash handling, and other daily responsibilities with accuracy and accountability

• Previous bartending experience
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and make thoughtful decisions
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• High personal standards for cleanliness, service, and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask while maintaining composure and consistency
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability
• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of your work
