SLP Inpatient Rehab
Talent Software Services
Duties Provide speech-language pathology services to adult and geriatric patients in an acute rehab unit. Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatments for various patient diagnoses, including CVA, BI, head and neck cancer, and cervical fusions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using the Epic charting system. Participate in weekend coverage, working every Saturday with a schedule from Tuesday through Saturday. Skills Voice/Resonance Acoustic Analysis Bedside Swallow Evaluation Compensatory Strategies Conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies Interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies Oral Motor Passy Muir Valves Suctioning Thickening Agents Tracheostomy Experience Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience in speech-language pathology. Preferred experience with Trauma Level II facilities. Familiarity with Medicare A and B billing/documentation is preferred. Experience with adult rehabilitation facilities is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
