Commercial Roofing Technician – Lead Field Operations & High-Impact Commercial Projects

The Opportunity

You will execute high-quality commercial roofing installations while stepping up as the on-site team lead whenever the foreman is unavailable. This role offers long-term stability and consistent, year-round employment in an industry where seasonal layoffs are common. You will work with a dedicated crew, traveling on high-priority projects with full travel compensation and strong career advancement potential.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Perform skilled installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial exterior roofing systems.
• Step into leadership to direct field operations and delegate tasks when the job foreman is off-site.
• Execute daily work in compliance with strict site safety protocols, OSHA standards, and fall protection requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections on active installations to ensure work matches project specifications.
• Coordinate material handling and equipment setup to maintain project schedules and eliminate downtime.
• Mentor junior crew members on technical roofing techniques and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in commercial roofing installation and field operations.
• Demonstrated ability to step up and lead a field crew in the absence of the foreman.
• Proven knowledge of commercial roofing materials, systems, tools, and safety protocols.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of working hours to various project sites beyond a 30-mile radius.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active certifications in Fall Protection, OSHA standards, or aerial lift operation.
• Manufacturer-specific technical installation training or certifications.
