Position - Quality Inspector

Job Location - Pewaukee, WI

Starting Date - Immediate

Employment Term - Direct Hire

Employment Type - Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) - 1st Shift (5:30am - 3:45pm)

Starting Pay - Depends on Experience, $18-$25 per hour

Required Education - High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience - At least 2-5 years of quality inspection experience

This position will inspect the castings during process and before shipping, along with performing non-destructive testing on the castings, such as liquid penetrant and pressure testing.

Responsibilities


- Performs assigned, routine visual inspections and other specified tests on raw materials, goods in process, and finished products.

-Final inspection of castings prior to shipment and compare results of inspections and tests to the company's quality standards, report results to supervisor for final analysis and action steps

-Develops, maintains, and posts logs, charts, and forms detailing quality levels, inspection data, and results of special quality studies

-Consults with supervisor to determine appropriate recommendations and remedies for questionable products. • Maintains quality records as needed.

-Performs other quality related duties as assigned


Qualifications

-HS Diploma/GED required

-2-5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

- Able to read prints, perform basic math and computer skills
