Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a Surgical Technologist or Certified Surgical Technologist to prepare operating rooms, gather supplies, and assist during surgical procedures. Key Duties Preparing supplies, equipment, and instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and delivering instruments to the surgical team. Acting as second assistant, assisting with draping, exposure, and specimen handling, and operating surgical tools under surgeon supervision. Maintaining equipment, assisting with room turnover, and supporting unit operations, training, and mentoring staff. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, with preferred surgical technology certification or relevant experience. Candidates should demonstrate critical thinking, anticipate surgeon needs, and independently scrub complex cases within assigned service lines. The role involves night shifts and requires competency in multiple service areas, excluding invasive procedures and medication administration.
