Job Duties Setting Appointments: 6-8 hours per week – reach out to potential clients who previously requested coverage and schedule a time to discuss their mortgage protection coverage. Research: 4-5 hours per week – dig into the information the client provided to customize options to meet their financial need in the event of death or disability. Meeting with Families: 2 days per week – meet with clients virtually or in-person to present options, discuss coverage details, and help them apply. Administrative: 2 hours per week – follow up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting. Commission Details This position is commission‑only based. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is approximately $600 per family protected. Our expectation is that a full‑time agent will sell 5 to 10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition to mortgage protection, we also have a selection of premium financial products to help people save for retirement or protect their current retirement accounts (e.g., 401(k)s and IRAs) from losing money in the market. We provide extensive training on how these products work and how to sell them. Beyond uncapped commission, we have a competitive bonus structure program and incentive trips that agents/managers can qualify for based on their individual and team results.
