About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80110!

• Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery care for patients receiving anesthesia across multiple surgical service lines, including spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics cases
• Float between PACU units (Main/Surgical Robotics and Orthopedic Surgery Center) as needed, supporting a combined 59-bay environment
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2 (up to 1:3 for same-day surgery patients) in accordance with ASPAN standards
• Care for high-acuity patients including high neuro volume, stroke patients, interventional radiology, TAVR, and critical care overflow
• Utilize GE monitoring equipment and document care using the Meditech EMR system

• Minimum 1 year of current PACU hospital experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience

• Stroke care experience
• Critical care background in addition to PACU experience
• Flexible and adaptable personality comfortable floating between multiple units
