Position Summary: As an EEO Investigator and Trainer, you will report directly to the Deputy Director of EEO and collaborate closely with the EEO team. In this role, you will manage all aspects of your assigned investigations, process high-volume of reasonable accommodation requests, and support the delivery of EEO-related training to agency staff. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO: Develop and deliver classroom and computer-based training on EEO-related case law, statutes, regulations, and legal guidance. Conduct investigations into EEO discrimination complaints. Interview complainants, respondents, and other relevant parties involved in EEO matters. Prepare comprehensive investigative reports, citing relevant facts, case law, statutes, and regulations to support findings and recommendations. Process requests for reasonable accommodation in a timely and consistent manner. Receive, review, and provide guidance on reasonable accommodation requests. Conduct legal research on EEO-related issues as they arise. Minimum Qualifications A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of satisfactory full-time experience in one or more of the fields of accounting, auditing, correction administration, criminal justice administration and planning, forensic science, inspection, investigation, law enforcement, personnel administration, police science, and/or security, or in a major operational area of the agency in which the appointment is to be made; or A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college; or Education and/or experience equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
