About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in CVOR License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Epic charting system experience - Experience with vascular cases including EVAR, Fem Pop, CABG, thoracotomies, lung resections - Heavy on-call requirements (4-5 days a week and every other weekend plus holidays) Description: Seeking an experienced CVOR RN with strong expertise. Candidates must be skilled in managing vascular cases, including endovascular aneurysm repair and coronary artery bypass grafting. Experience with a wide range of cardiac medications is essential. Position entails significant on-call responsibilities, with expectations for weekend and holiday coverage. Must be able to provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Preference given to those with prior hospital experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills are needed to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Candidates must be prepared to handle complex procedures such as atrial septal defect repairs and transcatheter aortic valve replacements. A commitment to patient safety and adherence to protocols is required. This role demands flexibility and adaptability to changing situations within the operating room. Completion of NIHSS certification is required during compliance. A passport-style badge photo is necessary before the start of the position. References from supervisors will be required after the offer is accepted. The candidate must comply with all additional training and module requirements as specified.
