92F Petroleum Supply Specialist

Overview Fuel is one of the most vital components of the Army National Guard. It’s what keeps Soldiers pushing onward, and as a Petroleum Supply Specialist you’ll ensure they never run out. In this position you will ensure the proper handling, storage, and shipment of petroleum-based products, such as oil, fuel, and compressed gas. Responsibilities Supervise and manage the reception, storage, and shipping of bulk or packaged petroleum products. Operate specialized pumping equipment to load trucks, ships, trains, and aircraft. Select and submit samples of petroleum-based products for testing. Perform petroleum and water accounting activities. Test petroleum samples for contamination, repair specialized equipment, and maintain knowledge of facility safety procedures and storage guidelines. Assist in supervising, training, and spot checking a cadre of Soldiers. You will spend the first 10 weeks in Basic Training, followed by 11 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) featuring hands‑on and classroom instruction.
