HVAC Apartment Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)Bring your HVAC skills to Monarch's Omaha portfolio, working across several apartment communities to perform HVAC repairs, troubleshoot systems, and assist with make-readies and work orders. EPA and HVAC certification are required for this role.PAY: $28-35 an hour plus up to $3,000+ in bonuses throughout the year!BONUSES POTENTIAL: Up to $750 quarterly bonuses (based on site performance)SCHEDULE : M-F 8-5PM (80hrs paid time off 1st year, paid holidays) Some share on-call responsibilities (bonuses and extra paid-time for emergencies)POSITION DETAILS: This role supports seven Monarch properties in Omaha, providing HVAC repair, troubleshooting, and general maintenance assistance where needed. If on-call on a holiday=$50 for that day401k match up to $4,000 a yearMedical with Blue Cross Blue Shield, dental and vision insurance starting under $50 a monthLife and disability InsurancePaid Holidays including your birthday or work anniversaryPaid Time Off, 1 st Year = 80 Hours, 2-4 Years = 120 Hours, 5+ Years = 160 Hours20% off rent at any of our owned communitiesTuition reimbursement programYearly anniversary giftsLongevity benefit-Every 5th year milestone choose a 3 week off PTO vacation or bonus checkTool reimbursement program, up to $500 per year ($250 available at 6 months)Boot and pant reimbursement programWhat You'll Be Doing:Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priorityMake Ready / Turning Units in between tenantsPainting/Staining both interior and exterior applicationsManage and adapt a preventative maintenance programExterior structural maintenance as neededManaging coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phoneSnow removal (when applicable)Pool maintenance (where applicable)Housing inspection experience preferred (not required)The Experience We Like To See:2+ years' experience in maintenance or equivalent1+ years' experience in apartment maintenance preferred2+ years' experience in HVAC repair or similar fieldDry walling including painting and carpentryBasic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferredBasic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixturesBasic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposalRequired experience in HVAC with EPA and HVAC certificationPool experience with CPO certification preferredSome knowledge of water heaters both electric and gasProblem solving skillsBe able to provide great customer service to our residentsHave basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/daysA physical demonstration of your ability to complete job duties will be required during the interview process.This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and drug screening.Employees are eligible for 20% off rent at any Monarch community, terms and conditions apply.Equal opportunity employer.
