Production Control Analyst

As a Production Control Analyst (PCA) at Rockwell Automation, you will play a critical role in keeping our Twinsburg, OH manufacturing facility operations running smoothly by aligning materials and capacity, preventing line stoppages, and supporting on‑time delivery. Responsibilities Drive daily production efficiencies by releasing and sequencing manufacturing orders based on material and capacity availability. Manage material availability by setting and monitoring SAP exceptions, tracking actual component usage, and following up with suppliers. Maintain inventory levels for specific product lines, working with Central Material Analysts to address inventory deviations and safety‑stock parameters. Collaborate with Master Schedulers and Manufacturing Engineers to understand and advise on short‑term and long‑term capacity, minimizing past‑due orders. Create, modify, and maintain realistic material, manufacturing, and procurement strategies for new product introductions and phase‑out products. Assist in reviewing inventory planning parameters to establish appropriate safety‑stock and reorder point levels per the materials planning playbook. Work with the Master Scheduler to comprehend monthly production of safety stock or targeted finished‑goods inventories. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline. Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship). Minimum of 2 years of experience in Production and Inventory Control, Operations, Purchasing, or Manufacturing Engineering. Proficiency in advanced PC software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP. Preferred Qualifications APICS certification (CPIM, CIRM, CSCP) or completed within 24 months of hire. Experience in a material control/production planning environment. Advanced knowledge of manufacturing planning systems.
