Associate Director of Programs - (5698)

Associate Director of Programs Location: Los Angeles, CA 90004 Salary: $77,782.00 – $95,633.00 annually Full Time, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Non‑Exempt, Driving Required About The Job As part of the Outreach Services team, the Associate Director of Programs works under the supervision of the director to oversee programmatic operations. He or she leads, directs, and supervises program managers, team supervisors, and direct‑service staff. The AD collaborates with the Director to monitor and design programs, develop budgets, contribute to grant proposals, create programmatic workflows, evaluate programs, and produce financial reports. The AD demonstrates client‑centered, collaborative leadership and provides coaching, organization, and project‑management expertise while engaging high‑level stakeholders and supporting staff to reach their full potential. Position Responsibilities Under the guidance of the department director, oversee all aspects of program operations. Provide direct supervision to program managers and team supervisors. Ensure adherence to funding‑source contracts and performance standards; prepare written reports on program activities as required by funders. Provide leadership that reflects the organization’s mission, vision, and values to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure appropriate data collection and reporting for funders, government entities, and senior management. Prepare progress and performance reports for internal and external communication. Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; plan and schedule workload assignments; adjust program and project priorities; and prepare schedules for work completion. Maintain effective relationships with partners and help develop and manage key strategic partnerships. Work collaboratively with PATH Operations, HR, Finance, and Program departments. Oversee employee performance evaluations, conduct supervision meetings, manage timesheets and attendance issues, provide recognition and corrective action, address concerns, and facilitate problem resolution. Represent the company in employment‑related matters, including court proceedings, unemployment hearings, and other legal or regulatory processes. Attend and actively engage in all required training sessions and apply learned skills to daily tasks. Attend and actively engage in all required staff meetings and events on and off‑site when applicable. What You Bring Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail: Gather and interpret data, identify trends, patterns, and insights, and produce high‑quality work. Collaboration and Teamwork: Build positive working relationships with colleagues, participants, and stakeholders; contribute to team goals. Communication: Convey information clearly and effectively in both verbal and written form. Creativity and Initiative: Make proactive decisions, take on additional responsibilities, and generate innovative solutions. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Analyze and evaluate information, identify key issues, consider alternatives, and make logical decisions. Ethics and Boundaries: Maintain professional standards, honesty, and integrity while preserving professional boundaries. Preferred Qualifications Six (6) years of experience in healthcare, case management, homeless services, or working with vulnerable populations. Two (2) years of supervisory experience in homeless services or a related social services field (strongly preferred). Minimum Qualifications Four (4) years of experience in healthcare, case management, homeless services, or working with vulnerable populations. One (1) year of supervisory experience in homeless services or a related social services field. Mandatory Requirements Employment eligibility verification. CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain. Successful completion of tuberculosis test, background screening, and drug test. Driving Requirement Reliable transportation. Valid driver’s license.
