• Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures involved in modern radiation therapy equipment, simulation, imaging, and treatment procedures.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and proper patient positioning.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical reasoning, lead and instruct support staff, and stay current with clinical practice developments.
• Strong communication skills to establish effective relationships with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Ability to assume responsibility for departmental projects related to safety, training, and quality improvement.
