Construction Litigation Associate Attorney Houston | Hybrid A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Houston office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and other industry participants in sophisticated construction and infrastructure disputes nationwide. Compensation $225,000 – $325,000+ Qualifications 3+ years of construction litigation or complex commercial litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm Experience handling construction disputes, payment disputes, delay and disruption claims, and defective design and construction claims Experience preparing, filing, enforcing, and defending against mechanics' and materialmen's liens Experience analyzing and advising clients regarding lien rights, payment claims, and enforcement strategies Experience managing all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, preparing discovery, handling motion practice, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparation Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts and participating in arbitration and mediation proceedings is preferred Ability to work independently while managing sophisticated litigation matters Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent academic credentials J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required Active Texas bar admission required #J-18808-Ljbffr Aligned Talent Acquisition
