Job Summary:
A specialized cardiovascular intensive care unit (ICU) nurse is sought in Boston, Massachusetts. This position involves supporting patients with advanced heart failure on mechanically circulatory support devices such as Impella, durable VAD, ECMO, and IABP. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment begins on July 5, 2026, and offers a rotating 36-hour shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Boston, Massachusetts
• Shift Hours: 12 hours (day/night rotating)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience 2+ years of level 1 experience in cardiac intensive care, expertise in advanced heart failure management, experience with mechanically circulatory support (MCS), at least 1 year of travel nursing experience, and a valid license to be brought on the first day.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts of 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week, beginning 07/05/2026
• Additional Information: Supports patients on mechanically circulatory support such as Impella, durable VAD, ECMO, IABP. Clinician to patient ratio is 1:2. The patient population includes multisystem failure, with a focus on advanced heart failure and recently postoperative cardiac surgical patients. Census: 16.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
