PeopleSoft HCM Business Analyst at innovitusa Austin, TX

Overview PeopleSoft HCM Business Analyst position located in Austin, TX, part of a dedicated CAPPS HCM upgrade project team. Responsibilities Analyze business objectives, identify alternative solutions, and perform cost/benefit analyses. Analyze user requirements and procedures to automate processing or improve existing systems. Collaborate with personnel in various organizational units to determine input/output requirements, data formats, and reporting; summarize findings. Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and required steps to develop or modify computer programs. Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested program changes. Conduct review meetings with subject matter experts, document complex system requirements, processes, test scenarios, test scripts, and training. Perform hands‑on testing and support multiple test cycles. Communicate effectively with diverse teams using collaboration tools in a remote environment and meet deadlines. Qualifications Minimum of 8 years experience as a Business Analyst on PeopleSoft HCM implementation or upgrade projects. Minimum of 8 years experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Payroll or Time & Labor. Experience identifying requirements and creating formal functional documents for key stakeholders and SMEs. Experience conducting formal work sessions and functional analysis presentations. Experience performing hands‑on end‑to‑end system integration and external interface testing. Minimum of 8 years experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications. Preferred: 4 years experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government). Preferred: 2 years experience with Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials. Preferred: 2 years experience with PeopleSoft HCN 9.2 Payroll or Time & Labor. Preferred: 2 years experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
