Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification required Must-Have: - At least 2 years of experience - HFNC - BIPAP - Stable GTT management - Postoperative care for CABG, AVR, MVR - Cardiovascular and vascular experience - AAA repair - Lobectomy - CEA - NSTEMI - STEMI - Acute Coronary Syndrome - Pacemakers - Sepsis - Gastrointestinal bleeding - Post DKA - Respiratory failure - Tracheostomy care Description: This position is for a 30-bed step down unit. The nurse will float between critical care service lines. Candidates should have experience with high acuity patients. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex cases. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety.
