As a Locum Family Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our diverse patient population. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients of all ages
• Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Manage chronic conditions and promote preventive health practices
• Perform routine medical procedures and diagnostics
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records
• Educate patients and families about health management
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of practice
• Associates level experience in Family Medicine
• Strong understanding of family medicine practice standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and clinical judgment abilities
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: 7a-5p

185-bed hospital

Patient Volume: 15 per day, 2-4 admissions, 2-4 discharges

Patient Population: 100% adults

Required Skills: Non-invasive vent management

Preferred Skills: EKG interpretation, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis

May supervise APPs or residents

Must be board-certified
