We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing individual, business, bankruptcy and various income tax returns and related tax research projects. Candidate should be experienced in preparing tax returns and able to work independently. Potential future ownership opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Engage in tax research projects as needed
- Assist in a variety of tax-related tasks during tax season
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of previous tax experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting required
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
