Travel Universal Banker

Position Summary Responsible for providing high quality service on a wide variety of general financial services. This role is also responsible for the sales and servicing of all credit union products and services, while focusing on building relationships and expanding EVERWISE CREDIT UNION’s wallet share. Will float between designated service centers and provide support to multiple branch locations as needed. Primary Responsibilities and Duties Maintains a high level of membership in accordance with the EVERWISE CREDIT UNION Service Expectations. Perform a broad variety of member service functions with accuracy and timeliness, including cash handling, financial transactions, account maintenance, opening new accounts, operating an ITM, and supporting MCC. Maintain a high level of confidentiality about member account information. Meet or exceed established referral and sales goals, listening for clues, asking open‑ended questions, promoting products, or referring members to appropriate partners. Assist in outbound call efforts by reviewing, updating and calling on prospect lists, following up with members, and participating in call campaigns. May assume additional retail functions such as drawer audits, member account maintenance, and vault duties. Comply with credit union policies (Check Cashing, Cash Control, Transaction Approval Limits, Reg CC, SAR, CTR, Check handling, Reg D, BSA, etc.). Volunteer for special projects within the scope of job responsibilities. Resolve problems through research, open‑ended questioning, and consistent follow‑up to ensure member satisfaction. Assume additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager for the continued growth of the Credit Union. Knowledge/Skills Excellent human‑relation skills and professional communication (listening, verbal, written). Ability to proactively solve problems with concern and empathy, seeking solutions benefiting members and EVERWISE CREDIT UNION. In-depth product knowledge and needs‑based selling. Proficient cash handling skills. Capability to work in a fast‑paced, diverse environment. Practical computer application skills. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. Six months of retail sales and/or cash handling experience, or equivalent experience within a financial institution or related field (preferred). Compensation Base pay starting at $19.25/hour plus an additional $1.50/hour travel premium. Pay is dependent upon the pay range and the incumbent’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
