Job Description
  • Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess clients' needs and formulate personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive functions, and daily living activities
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to ensure holistic patient care
  • Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide education to patients and their families about therapy techniques, enabling consistent support at home
  • Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and revise treatment plans as necessary, ensuring they stay on track
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Encouragement and support for continuing education or additional certifications
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
Skills
