Controls Engineer / Industrial Automation Engineer Step into a pivotal role with a leader in innovative industrial equipment manufacturing! My client, known for revolutionizing their industry, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team and take charge of control system design and implementation. Diverse work includes controls programming and development, electrical machine design, and on-site commissioning ensures variety and challenge. Competitive base salary in the $85,000-$95,000 range depending on background and experience. Year end bonus and profit sharing plans. 401K with match. Medical insurance through United Health with dental and vision insurance. Short Term Disability and Life Insurance. 10 annual paid company holidays including paid time off for annual plant shutdown between Christmas and New Years. What You’ll Be Doing Designing and developing electrical and control systems for industrial manufacturing equipment. Managing external contractors for control panel design and build. Overseeing custom projects from quote to commissioning. Traveling to customer sites for line installation and support. Collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot and enhance designs. Ensuring compliance with UL/CE and safety standards. About You Be able to do the job as described. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in programming PLCs and VFDs, with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley experience preferred. Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time domestically and internationally. Familiar with AutoCAD/Draftsight for wiring schematics. Knowledgeable in UL/CE regulations and safety practices.
