Part-Time Accountant (Remote) Reports to: Accounting Manager
Schedule: Part-time, 20–30 hours/week during normal business hours

What you'll do You'll own the day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of small business clients. That includes:

What you'll do You'll own the day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of small business clients. That includes:
- Recording financial transactions in the client's accounting software
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Processing AP and AR
- Producing monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Maintaining the general ledger
- Supporting the client's CPA at year-end for tax prep
- Coordinating with payroll providers when applicable
- Communicating directly with clients to flag discrepancies or share updates
- Providing audit support when needed
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience for small businesses, including monthly close and financial reporting
- 1+ year using accounting software in a professional setting
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Level 1 certification
- Comfortable working 20–30 hours per week during regular business hours
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience working remotely on a team where trust and follow-through carry the relationship
- Discretion when handling confidential client data
- Genuine willingness to learn new tech as our tools evolve
