Travel RN – PostpartumSchedule6 weekend days required per contract. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).Assignment DetailsOrientation: 254 hours. Must be flexible and may float to other units as needed.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years postpartum/high-acuity obstetric experience.BLS and NRP certifications required.EPIC experience is mandatory.Ability to manage high-risk obstetric patients and postpartum hemorrhage.Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, and Foley care preferred.ResponsibilitiesProvide postpartum care for high-risk obstetric patients.Monitor and manage patient care during the postpartum period.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and care quality.Assist in education and support for new families regarding postpartum care.Compliance / NotesCompact state RN license must be in hand at submission. References required covering 1 year within the last 3 years. Scheduling and time-off requests must be submitted upfront; limited flexibility may affect the offer.
