Details Critical Care unit within a 298-bed teaching hospital 20-bed unit with a 1:2 patient ratio Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM Scheduled for 36 or 48 hours per week Float to PCU as needed Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed No on-call requirements Block scheduling is not available for this position Requirements Active MA RN license required in-hand prior to start; compact license not accepted Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care experience required Willingness to float to PCU required Experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring required Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred TNCC certification preferred BSN preferred Current BLS (AHA) certification required Current ACLS (AHA) certification required NIHSS certification required Must have own vehicle Permanent address required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct critical care nursing with ability to float to PCU as needed Personal scrubs of any color permitted Includes 8 hours of non-billable orientation Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled, including Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend Requested time off must be submitted upfront and is limited to no more than 5 days Time off requests made after offer or during interview will not be approved American Traveler Job ID P-771056.
