As the Fulfillment Supervisor, you will help oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy fulfillment team. This role is responsible for managing a team of pharmacy technicians, providing hands-on leadership through training, coaching, and performance oversight to ensure consistent adherence to operational standards and procedures. You will support the accurate and timely fulfillment of prescription and non-prescription medications, while fostering a work culture centered on quality, safety, and efficiency. A key aspect of this role includes working directly with pharmacy automation equipment to streamline fulfillment operations and ensure optimal system performance. With a mindset rooted in continuous improvement, you will collaborate with pharmacy leadership to identify and implement enhancements to workflows and systems. The Fulfillment Lead also plays a key role in compliance adherence and maintaining readiness for inspections. This position is essential to the success of our fulfillment operation and to delivering a seamless, high-quality experience for our patients. What You'll Do: Lead and mentor a team of pharmacy technicians by providing hands-on coaching, real-time feedback, and performance support to foster a high-performing team culture Oversee technician onboarding, training, and ongoing skills development to ensure compliance with SOPs and operational excellence Support scheduling and staffing needs to ensure appropriate shift coverage and workflow continuity Ensure pharmacy fulfillment workflowsincluding picking, packing, and shippingare executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established timelines Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational issues on the floor, escalating concerns to pharmacy leadership as appropriate Collaborate closely with pharmacists and cross-functional teams including operations, care, and product to resolve order and shipping issues promptly Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation equipment, ensuring it functions properly to support order volume Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the fulfillment process, and drive adherence to all applicable standards and procedures Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by participating in workflow evaluations and helping implement operational enhancements Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready workspace aligned with company policies and regulatory expectations Flexibly support fulfillment operations by assisting with order processing and technician duties as needed to meet volume demands Support additional operational tasks and responsibilities as assigned by pharmacy leadership What You'll Bring to the Team: Willingness to obtain an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) within a defined timeframe upon hire High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of people management experience in an operations, fulfillment, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, or other high-volume environment, including experience conducting performance evaluations, coaching employees, and managing daily performance within the operation Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and support a team in a fast-paced fulfillment environment Empathy, patience, and professionalism in interactions with both patients and team members Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, especially when navigating high-pressure or time-sensitive situations Excellent organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and compliance Comfort working with pharmacy automation equipment and technology-driven workflows A proactive, improvement-oriented mindset and the ability to contribute to cross-functional problem-solving Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative spirit that thrives in cross-functional environments Schedule & Availability: While we strive to maintain consistent schedules, flexibility is required, as your scheduled workdays may occasionally shift to help cover holidays, team PTO, or other staffing needs Advanced notice of at least two weeks will be provided for any changes to the regular schedule Please note that shift structures may be adjusted in the future based on evolving business needs We've Got You Covered: Full medical, dental, and vision insurance + OneMedical membership Healthcare and Dependent Care FSA 401(k) with company match Flexible PTO Wellbeing + Learning & Growth reimbursements Paid parental leave + Fertility benefits Pet insurance Student loan refinancing Virtual resources for mindfulness, counseling, and fitness The target base salary for this position ranges from $56,500 to $65,000, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable).
