We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to provide essential in-home support to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to helping others maintain comfort, dignity, and independence in a safe and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as appropriate to the care plan.
• Provide support with mobility, transfers, positioning, and general movement around the home.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, including tidying living areas, laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Support medication reminders and follow care instructions as directed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote well-being and comfort.
• Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation needs when required and permitted.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required forms or visit notes in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety, confidentiality, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience providing home care, personal care, or direct support services is preferred.
• Completion of a recognized Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide training program may be required, depending on assignment.
• Ability to communicate clearly, follow care plans, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a respectful and empathetic approach to client care.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with client support, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods as needed.
• Reliable transportation may be required, depending on service location.
• Must be able to pass any required background screening, reference checks, and compliance requirements.
