Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Candidate must have ACLS prior to submission Hospital: Rapides Regional Medical Center Location: Alexandria, Louisiana Address: 211 4th Street, Alexandria, LA 71301 Unit Name: 4 South Building: South Tower, 4th floor Cost Center: 68373 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 36 Patient Ratios : 1:6 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 4 South has 2 stations and uses 2 unit secretaries 0600-2200 daily. We utilize patient care techs at all times, the amount and ratio fluctuates depending on census. Type of equipment : Telemetry for each room with monitors in the stations, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well. Floating policy: All nurses float to other units as needed. Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, AIDET Hospital Specifics- Pathways to Excellence Certified Certified Stroke Center Certified Chest Pain Center Level II Trauma Center Hiring profile Requested Skill Set : Strong nursing background and knowledge, thorough assessment skills, attention to details and condition changes. Must have : Positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, teamwork, self-motivation, good communication and people skills, desire for excellence, accountability, ability to multitask, ability to deal with stressful situations.
