Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Glenview, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/13/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Unknown. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a surgical environment within the organizations operating unit. The role requires the ability to circulate and scrub for general and eye surgeries, with on-call responsibilities including weekend and holiday rotations. Job Details Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Epic experience, and at least 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience. Must pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or above on the first day and be able to submit a documented eye circulation experience, including at least one recent reference. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in scrub nursing for general and eye surgeries. Additional Information: Candidates should submit an updated resume with documented eye circulation experience, current references from within the past year, and an updated skills checklist. The candidate must be within a 30-minute drive of the hospital and available for on-call rotations including weekends and holidays. Orientation is not provided on Mondays.
