Meeting Street is currently looking for a Program Coordinator & Clerk for 40 hours per week. 

Duties:

• Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the WIC program, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. 
• Assists with program planning and implementation and serves as a resource for staff and the community.
• Provides administrative support including reporting grant, and budget preparation.
• Ensures correct issuance of WIC food instruments and entry of certification data/information into information system (RIWEBS).
• Create and deliver items in the Nutrition Education Plan.
• Stay informed about current issues related to nutrition, maternal and child health, and social justice. 
• Completes quarterly reports for the state with updated information from the program.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in foods and nutrition, public health, organizational leadership or related areas.
• A minimum of three years’ management experience; familiarity of WIC program is highly desirable. 
• Valid CPR and First-Aid certification or willing to obtain. 
• Maintains continuing education credits or certification as appropriate.
• Manual dexterity and mobility required. 
• Able to regularly sit, stand or walk, and occasionally reach for prolonged periods of time. 
• Must be able to lift, push, move and/or carry supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds, and occasionally be able to bend, stoop, crouch or kneel.
• Position hours – Monday: 8am – 4pm; Tuesday: 10am – 6pm; Wednesday – Friday: 8am – 4pm
