Service Associate

Job Description

Position Title: Service Associate

Wage: $17.90/hour (plus piece rate)

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Friday), Overtime 5:00am - 10:00am (Saturday)

Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport materials and parts between departments
- Tumble and deburr parts to achieve a micro-finish quality standard
- Load and unload parts into parts washers and/or acid dip baths using hoists
- Perform rust inspections on finished and in-process parts
- Pack and load parts into containers according to order specifications, ensuring correct quantities and quality standards
- Verify accuracy of shipments and incoming materials by cross-checking receipts and purchase orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required vendor/customer paperwork
- Assist with basic machine maintenance, including lubricating motors, conveyors, and pumps

Requirements:
- Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to frequently walk, stand, lift, twist, turn, push and pull throughout shift
