Our hospital is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, MRI, multiple fully equipped surgical suites, telemetry, and comprehensive ICU facilities designed to support complete inpatient care. Our team includes receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and doctors working together to deliver excellent care to our patients and clients. Role Responsibilities Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow across all hospital functions. Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with the state’s Veterinary Practice Act for licensed veterinary technicians. Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments. Maintain comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems. Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts. Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, examination rooms, and labs. Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. Experience & Skills Requirements High school diploma or GED (required). Active or pending LVT license in Washington state. At least 2 years of continuous veterinary technician or assistant experience with direct animal/patient care. Desire to practice empathetic, gold-standard medicine benefiting patients. Team-oriented with an ability to collaborate and support each other. Positive, kind, and trustworthy communication with patients, team members, and clients. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
