Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective time management, and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment. Hours will be 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday and you will be off school when students are off on breaks but will have some extended days to work before and after the school year.

Duties

• Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Manage incoming phone calls using multi-line phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using computerized systems.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently.
• Provide support as a personal assistant to management when required.
• Handle student transportation changes and ensure all buses radio in at the end of th day

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an office environment or similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with calendar management tools is a plus.
• Experience with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines is desirable.
