Pay Rate
Local: $70.00 - $77.00/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with breast MRI and Philips MRI experience to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Certification.
• Active Ohio Radiographer License.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Breast MRI experience required.
• Philips MRI equipment experience required.
• Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, patient positioning, and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation procedures, and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong patient-care, communication, and safety skills.
• Availability Monday–Friday.
• Willingness to rotate between both scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Review physician orders, patient history, medications, allergies, and MRI safety questionnaires.
• Verify patient identity and explain MRI procedures.
• Screen patients for implants and other MRI safety concerns.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately.
• Select and use MRI coils, gating devices, and other equipment.
• Perform breast MRI and other MRI procedures.
• Start IVs and perform venipuncture for contrast administration when required.
• Administer and document contrast media and medications according to protocols.
• Reconcile medications and identify potential contrast interactions.
• Operate MRI computer systems.
• Evaluate images for quality and ensure proper archiving.
• Maintain patient safety during MRI procedures.
• Educate patients and staff regarding MRI safety.
• Use appropriate patient-transfer equipment and techniques.
• Maintain accurate medication and contrast documentation.
• Follow patient-safety, infection-control, and facility policies.
• Maintain dosimeters as required.
• Assist coworkers with other modalities and clinical duties as appropriate.
• Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, coworkers, and physician offices.
• Follow emergency procedures for medical emergencies, fire, tornadoes, and other situations.
• Perform other MRI Technologist duties as assigned.
