Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Outpatient position is available in Berkeley, California. The role involves assisting in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures, following all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient safety and privacy. • Required Qualifications: Valid California State License, uploaded Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks, applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and at least 1 year of experience.
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: 1 year of experience in outpatient, rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with acute care, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and familiarity with diverse patient diagnoses and treatments listed.
• Additional Information: The position involves working with various patient diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. Clinical responsibilities include patient assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning. Vaccinations required include COVID-19 and Flu vaccines.
• Submittal Requirements: Upload Nursys verification, applicable certifications, and two references obtained within the last year.
• Compliance: All documentation must be submitted no later than 10 days prior to the start date. Candidates must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing.
• Schedule: 8-hour shift with 40 hours minimum per week.
