Quality Inspector 2We are seeking a Quality Inspector for an onsite position in Goleta, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections and nondestructive tests on various components and systems to ensure conformance with quality requirements. This role involves decision-making responsibilities regarding the acceptance or rejection of work and tests performed.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforms required inspections and nondestructive tests (UT, MT, PT, visual, dimensional, load tests) on mechanical, electrical, or structural components or systems.Ensures conformance with quality requirements for various projects.Inspects components and assemblies, varying from close tolerance dimensional checks to general surveillance of work in progress.Determines the appropriate measuring equipment for tests and inspections.Holds the authority to temporarily halt work that could affect quality standards.Works under general supervision within standardized company and industry policies and procedures.Required QualificationsAerospaceDimensional InspectionGeometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (GD&T)Microsoft ApplicationsPrecision Measuring ToolsReceiving InspectionPreferred QualificationsCable Harness AssemblyCMM ProgrammingOptical ComparatorsSolder CertifiedEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
