Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to float within various units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in the ICU, including monitoring ventilators, administering medications, and managing airway devices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Float within hospital units, including IMCU and Med Surg, based on patient volume and staffing needs.
• Assess patient condition continuously and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Ensure all certifications and licenses are current and meet hospital requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NC or Multistate RN license with clear verification.
• Have at least 2 years of ICU experience, including vent management and peds patient care.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR and recent experience using it.
• Be willing to float within hospital units and work night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00).
• Reside within 40 miles of the facility and provide driver's license for address verification.
