Die Setter

Overview

This position is responsible for preparing and setting up tooling from extrusion schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity by performing the following duties:

*This position has the potential to go to 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends in the future.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures enough dies are in the die ovens at each press based upon production schedule
• Transfers die to and from inventory system
• Recycles failed dies quickly
• Places dies in caustic solution to clean them of aluminum residue
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Experience in manufacturing environment

The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.
